Dr. Crane is board certified in Sports Medicine and Emergency Medicine. He completed his fellowships at the University of Missouri. Dr. Crane has been utilizing bio-cellular grafts with ultrasound guidance for 4 years with experience in regenerative therapies for 7 years. He has taught Regenerative Therapeutics and the use of bio-cellular grafting techniques throughout the country to doctors from all over the world. He has extensive knowledge of musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnostic and needle guided therapies. Dr. Crane enjoys competing in Ironman Races, Adventure Racing and Triathlons. His practice is located in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Kristin (Tate) Oliver, MD
Dr. Kristin (Tate) Oliver completed her residency in Family Practice and Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Missouri in Columbia. She is board certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine and joined the Crane Clinic in 2008 where she currently practices with Dr’s Crane and Bayes. She has extensive knowledge of percutaneous bio-cellular grafts, supporting matrices and musculoskeletal ultrasound for both diagnosis and needle guided techniques. Dr. Oliver enjoys distance running, fishing, gardening and spending time with her family at their home in Columbia, Missouri. Her practice time is divided between the Crane Clinic locations in Chesterfield and Columbia.
Matt Bayes, MD
Dr. Bayes joined the Crane Clinic in 2011. He completed his fellowship in primary care sports medicine at St. Louis University in 2009. Prior to that he was a pediatrician in the United States Navy since graduating from Saint Louis University School of Medicine in 2001. After fellowship he worked at The Orthopedic Center of St. Louis in partnership with Drs. Lyndon Gross, Mark Miller, Michael Milne, and George Paletta.
Dr. Bayes specializes in the treatment of all sports medicine injuries and non-operative orthopedics. He has special interest in treating sports concussions and post-concussive syndrome. He is skilled in the use of ultrasound for both diagnostic and needle guidance purposes. He utilizes bio-cellular grafts in much of his treatment regimens. He strives to keep his patients moving during recovery to limit their time away from the game.
Dr. Bayes is married to Jaime and is the proud father of Ellie and Tyler. He enjoys marathons and triathlons in his spare time.
Mignonne Ashworth, RN. CPT Clinical Supervisor Crane Clinic for Sport Medicine
Graduated from Kennesaw University in Georgia.
Worked with Cardiologist, Dr. Arnold Fiadotin, MD, in the Cardiac Cath Lab at St. Johns Hospital 1980-1982 while finishing nursing school. Was a School nurse with Parkway and Rockwood School Districts 1993-1995 and 1997-1998.
Joined Dr. David Crane to start the Crane Clinic in 2004. The clinic opened its doors June 1, 2005.
I am also a Personal Trainer, Fitness/Pilates /Yoga Instructor with the YMCA West County 1997-2000, transferred to Wildwood YMCA 2000- present. My back ground in fitness has allowed me to help our patients with pre-habilitation and re-habilitation programs to help them return to their activities. I instructPilates, Yoga, and Stretching classes to Triathletes, Marathoners and Cyclist through my LLC, Fitness Rx.
I am happy married to my best friend Brian. We have 3 wonderful grown children. We are going to be grandparents in June. I love family time, movies, hiking, down hill skiing, reading, and traveling to new places.
Devon B. Lacy, MSEd, ATC, OTC
Devon was born and raised in Central Missouri where all of her family still roots for Mizzou. She first became interested in athletic training during her undergraduate career at Truman State University. Upon graduation she continued her pursuit of knowledge and education working as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Northwest Missouri State University. In the summer of 2009, Devon interned at Disney's Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida. After earning her Master’s degree from Northwest in 2010, Devon spent a year in Vail, Colorado participating in the Steadman Clinic athletic training fellowship program. During this program athletic trainers learn to transition from sideline coverage to assisting sports medicine physicians in the clinical setting. At the Crane Clinic Devon assists Dr. Bayes with patient care, as well as coordinating the concussion care outreach program.
Devon enjoys running, hiking, live music, and spending time with friends and family. After a year in Colorado, Devon also has a new passion for skiing. While living in the mountains was incredible, Devon is happy to be in St. Louis where she seizes every opportunity to attend Blues and Cardinals games.
